The reason the formation of a consultancy service is that the commissioning of architectural or art glass is quite a unique process and advice is needed to ensure that works are commissioned with a degree of impartiality and transparency.

There are very few (if any) specific glass consultants providing impartial and transparent advice together with administrative services to the art glass industry and likewise purchasers of architectural or art glass have little knowledge of the glass industry and are reliant upon glass artists for guidance with respect to their services which for obvious reasons may not necessarily be impartial.

Similarly many glass artists do not have the contractual or administrative experience or knowledge to properly deal with the aspects of the construction and property development industry within which architectural and art glass exists. 

In order to provide a degree of diversity and credibility, as well as the consultancy services, we also undertakes glass commissions (see the other pages on this site) and other ancillary works such as architectural glass, glass ornaments, jewellery, bathroom/kitchen tiles etc. This is important because it ensures a current link at all times with glass art design and manufacture
